Stinker
All the doctors come in each morning to say Hello. The following conversation took place today when Dr. Asami, the head doctor, came in...
Dr. A: Good morning Joshua.
Josh: looks down, refuses to acknowledge anyone is there.
Dr. A: Good morning Joshua.
Josh: continues to play, totally ignoring the doctor.
Me: Joshua, say good morning.
Josh: signs 'Yada' (I don't want to/I don't like it)
Me: take toy away, and starts to repeat... only to be interrupted by a VERY strong willed little boy who...
Josh: signs "please" & "Chodai" (give it to me)
Me: I tell him, in English this time, that he cannot have his toy until he says good morning to the doctor.
Josh: exasperated sigh, signs "good morning" then signs "Please"
Dr. Asami leave the room laughing and shaking her head at the trilingual conversation that just took place (Japanese / English / Sign)
Josh with his new favorite toy; Talking Thomas.

That's a smart boy you've got there. Hehe.
He is so mischievous!!
He is really awesome!
It's so amazing to me that sign language is so useful to little people. Even when they can't talk they can communicate. I would like to learn the sign language some day.
Ryc - I know in this election year I keep wanting to make things political too. I just hope we can save our country from liars and thieves. I know God can, but sometimes I think I have to help too!
@mcbery - giggle... my thought on the squirrel picture fits perfectly with this... "What do you mean I am taking your nut? I'M not taking it, I'm only using it for YOUR good...."
