Notes
I'm here.
I'm doing OK.
I'm processing.
I'm not planning a trip back for dad's funeral. <Several reasons the biggest 2 being: 1) Dad did not want me to make the trip back when the time came. 2) Joshy's health. I cannot do anything for dad by going back, but I am needed here to care for Joshy's medical needs.
I am praying that dad acknowledged some things from his past, confessed them to the LORD, and was right with Him when his time came.
I am praying that peace, that only the LORD can give, will be found.

It sounds like you are processing just fine...wise decision, and you are right - I'm sure your dad would have agreed with it. Praying along with you for peace for you all.
